Such a beautiful piece. I read it three times: first for the plot, second to savor the beautiful meanings, and third to decide whether it is whimsical and playfully ironic or deeply emotional and existential. I still can’t decide.
I’m inclined to say it’s more like a sweet and sour dish. You get to enjoy the contrasts on their own, and also the weird deliciousness of their coexistence.

Honestly, I think we rarely experience sorrow as an isolated emotion and I think I like to write about the complexity of the human experience. So, I guess, thank you for seeing that :)
